The Federal Government of Nigeria has approved the State Codes for the Rapid Response Register (RRR) in all of the federation’s states.
The Rapid Response Register is a 2.3 trillion naira stimulus package put in place by the federal government to counteract the impact of Covid-19.
The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development are in charge of this effort.
The urban poor and vulnerable population will be the target group. Low-income workers in the informal sector who have lost their jobs will also be able to join the Rapid Response Register.

Through this new COVID-19 Special Rapid Registry of Beneficiaries, at least one million households in 36 states and the FCT will be targeted and enrolled. Every household identified in this register would receive N5,000 per month for the first 12 months.

Each participating Local Government Area and Ward has its own unique USSD codes that the target individuals/households could SMS to apply for registration into the RRR.
